Women won the vote!

And those same women founded the League of Women Voters on February 14, 1920.  We will mark this centennial event with a luncheon and great program featuring keynote speaker Carolyn Jefferson-Jenkins, who is a past president of the League of Women Voters US.  Join us to hear League founder Carrie Chapman Catt in action. Learn how to get ready for California's first-ever 'Super Tuesday' primary on March 3.  Watch Girl Scouts in action on their day of remembering, and meet 8th graders who wrote about the power of the vote.  Most important, get a pro's view of the history of voting rights in America from Dr. Jefferson-Jenkins. Top it off with Sky Bergman's video call to action on the future of voting.

Our thanks to the The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County for its sponsorship of this event, and other events in the Centennial Celebration series.
